Lodging:  We recommend the elegant Amway Grand Plaza Hotel for your lodging needs. The hotel address is 187 Monroe Avenue NW, but the auto lobby entrance is on Pearl Street as is the Amway's self-parking ramp. The hotel is two blocks from the DeVos Place Convention Center (there is an enclosed walkway from the hotel to the convention center). Make reservations directly with the hotel and ask for the Great Lakes EXPO's convention room rate: $112 for single or double, $122 for three persons and $132 for four persons. These are excellent rates for this elegant hotel and include free self-parking in the hotel's ramp (as long as your room is reserved at the conference rate). Most of the hotel's rooms are blocked for the conference, but reservations should be made early since rooms fill quickly. Reservations can be made online at the conference rate or call the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel at 800-253-3590 to make reservations.

Romm Cancellation and Two-Night Stay Policy: The Amway Grand Plaza Hotel will charge one night’s lodging for each room cancelled after November 12, 2012.

Tuesday night always has the largest demand for rooms. To maximize rooms available for attendees planning an extended stay, the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel will require a minimum two-night stay for reservations that include Tuesday evening, December 4.
